You’ve found the newsletter/blog/public journal of a writer who’s trying to fall in love with writing again.

After four years of college with two majors, a thesis, many stories at the independent student newspaper and multiple internships/jobs, I realized that I subconsciously classify writing as work now. Not something I love, or something that is fun.

And I miss the magic I used to feel when I was writing. So Book Club with HK will be my own little experiment, to see if I can find that joy again.

As the name says, the primary topic of this publication will be books. What I like, what I’m reading, what I’m anticipating. But who knows — I might write about family, or culture or other stuff I’m thinking about. I’d be delighted if you followed along.
